Hi.
There’s been repeated open burning around bukit kebun which has affected residents up to Kota Kemuning.
What have you done to stop it permanently !
Dear Irwin,
I most strongly agree with you, I couldn’t stand the smoke in the air last night. ( I live right here in Taman Klang Jaya). My eyes were tearing at 1am. The open burning has gone on unchecked for far far too long. Over the years I have written numerous complaints to the Ministry of Environment complaining about the situation. I also regularly make complaints to the local town council whenever I spot at open burning site/ a factory that is letting out polluted air. Even last night, I was urging members of my team to snap photos of the 8 - 9 bonfires (burning garden refuse) !! in the Raja Mahadi school compound at 12am midnight.
Action : The state legislative assembly (through the Ministry of Environment) must sanction and fine the wrongdoers.
There needs to be an established plan of how the Klang is going to deal with the large area of “peat soil” on both
sides of the KESAS highway, that is regularly on fire. Factories must not be built near housing areas (this is due to
the Local Town COuncil’s lack of planning and corruption in allowing such factories to be built)
We need to run more awareness and education campaigns on the detriments of smoke/haze to our lungs and health.
I am committed to finding a solution to the problem of open burning, and will pressure all relevant parties to achieve these aims.
Dr AX Jayakumar
I would like to suggest that PKR should also embark on the Environmental chapter as political mandate. I assure that the BN parties are lacking on this ground and there is so much that we as Malaysia can capitalise on following this path.
While most of the nations of the world are embarking on sustainabilities policies as a nation, we in Malaysia are already failing on the basic of sustainability since we practice inequality and un -accountability of our everyday actions.
It s the time for all the opposition parties to draft out a joint mandate addressing the issues of sustainability for the start towards uplifting the human status of citizens from mere persons to social capital.

I am an unfortunate resident of Taman Mewah Jaya, Klang, which is situated in the vicinity of Taman Sentosa, Klang was taken by surprise when foul smelling flood waters entered my home during the heavy downpour on Friday, 14/03/08.
In recent times, we here have always escaped unscathed but this time it was very serious.
For your info, this area in your constituency suffers from very severe flooding at least 2 times per annum.
I have written letter after letter to MPK to address the issue but nothing has been done so far. All my qualms have only fallen to deaf years for the better part of the last 10 years or so.
I am writing with the hope that you can soon rectify this issue plaguing this particular area your constituency for the the last decade at least.
Please kindly address this matter and we can live here like boat people!
Hi,
Yes we are very well aware of the extent of the disastrous floods in Tmn Sentosa today.
Dr Xavier spent all afternoon and evening till 11pm in tmn sentosa with the residents, MPK and the District Land Officers.
He stood in those “smelly” waters with the people.
Todays floods, is something very rare,…floods to this extent have not happended before, we intend to get to the bottom of the problem.
thank you
PA to Dr Xavier
Dr Xavier

God Bless You Keep on praying every morning
Dear Dr. Xavier,
As the Selangor Executive Council Member and someone who is also incharge of health matters, I would like to urge you to particularly pay attention to the house,No.40 Jalan Dato Abdul Hamid 31, Taman Sentosa, Klang.
This house has been turned into a junkyard and am sure lots of mosquitoes breed here. This is a housing estate and the junkyard is not supposed to be here. They sometimes burn rubber and this is not good for health. The owners of this place owe 3 lorries and cause congestion as they park lorries where ever they want. More over they ram the lorries and warm up as early as 6am and in the night at 10pm, we residents have to keep our doors closed all the time as the smoke is very bad for health. I do not know if they have a MPK approved lisence to do this, but even if they do, i am sure you will agree with me that a scrap metal waste junkyard is a definate no in a residential area.
we have growing kids and this is really bad for our health. I urge you to kindly look into this matter and please help us from this mess. We want our residential area to look nice and homely , not like a junkyard. we leave this to your hands. Thank you..
We hope that you will be able to look into this matter fast.
Dear Sri,
Could you please email / call us back with your personal details, so that we may investigate this complain further.
Kind Regards,
Dr xavier
Dear Dr Xavier,
I wish to bring to your urgent attention to the dirty enviroment we are leaving in Taman Sri Sentosa for past 10 years.I have repeatedly complained to MPK earlier on the drainage problem(drains are not cleaned for months and months), long grasses (grassed grows long and long happily along road sides),roads are left unswept as far as I can remember (roads practically looks like dump yard) and MPK had only attended to our cries barely 2 times todate.
We trust you will not take this complain lightly. We have children growing in this neighbour hood and an healty environment is an essential need. Being a Dr by profession, I am sure you will understand my concern.
You can look into the statistics of the residents here being effect with DENGGI fever for last year and it will be a proof of the cleanliness of this area.
Kindly look into this matters urgently and seriously.Thank you. Looking forward for urgent action.
For yor kind info…..please come to LORONG DATO DAGANG 26A,26B to see the condition with your own eyes.
Dear Exco,
My neighbour’s house No:14 Jalan Sukun 4/7, Section 4
